Because someone made a mistake and committed a crime 27 years ago and paid for it, should we always hold it over their head?

I don't know the situation here. I don't know if he was a chronic statutory rapist or if this was a one off thing, but if it was a one off thing, as long as he's following the terms of his release, it's whatever to me.

But damn still being on paper 27 years later is wild. I thought I got slammed being on probation for 10 years after i got out of prison. Really the last 3-4 years of my probation they left me alone.
