One of my "relatives" just hit me up on 23andme trying to find her birth father (she was adopted and doesn't know much about him). Oddly, she looks almost totally white even though she is like 40% African, which means her dad was around 80% (her mom is totally white), which is around the average for AAs. I've never seen an average phenotype AA have a mixed kid that looked so totally nonblack.
