Cali is the most overpriced shyt in the world but I love it, it's home

But to say I don't miss paying 1300 for a NICE 2 bed, 2 bath, 1400+Sq Ft apartment in a NICE area would be a bold face lie lol

I'm paying over double that nowadays and then some smh

Either that nice place is in a a small town and full of mostly white people, or that number is too low. Try 1400 minimum

It's everything out here too, eating out is more expensive, gas is more expensive, parking etc etc, LIFE is just more expensive smh

But nah mane 300/month increase is tough on anybody regardless of your perspective on things, I mean if they bumped up my shyt that much I'd be heated too, they did just short of a $200/month increase this last lease cycle at my current place

That was in Charlotte, NC and Austin, TX. Both areas I never spent anymore than 1400 tops, in between 11-14 at a total of 4-5 apartments between the two

This just happened to my mom. The construction lasts forever and all you hear is banging all the time. Once they have to work on your house, you may have to move out for a little bit (week or so) but they’ll put you in a hotel. My mom just decided to live with her mom for the time.

Once she came back, the house looked brand fukking new and really nice, even though it’s in a hood apartment. I guess they’re trying to gentrify the place

Also watch out, major construction can bring a lot of rodents to the place because of all the new holes, so make sure they patch up your shyt real good after renovating it
