mom just told me about it. she says its really bad...my sister has been up at night crying and shyt...really torn up just over life. mom said my sister has been trying to keep crazy thoughts down.

thing is she hasn't had any big traumatic experiences...its stuff like her 1st boyfriend being distant, her not getting a job she wanted, she hates going to work, etc. she only 18 so i know its normal but apparently she been telling my mom she thinks she needs counselling. thats the last fukking thing i want...those counselors be on some bullshyt man...get your family members on every type of medication and have them a different person...

always been really tight with my family so i never saw this coming.
yall have any advice?

Tell her to see counseling

Let her see a counselor, you can't just let her wallow in her sadness, gotta do something
i know...if she feels like she needs it i dont want to hold her back but i dont trust them. im a big believer in your thoughts becoming who you are. counselors love to make you admit how fukked up you are. if they gonna have her speaking out into the universe that shes fukked up, i feel this situation will only get worse
One you are on those drugs and dependent it's over.
thats what im saying. its why i dont want her to get counseling cause i guarantee they'll have her on some shyt

We need pictures

So it's just better to let her deal with it herself in your opinion?

I was just in a relationship with someone who's being medicated and they have become dependant on the meds. Its not a good look because you are just trading one problem for another.

My little brother has the same thing except he attempted to off himself like 3 times.

The best thing you can do is try and be there and keep their spirits uplifted. Sometimes they'll put on a face for everyone making it seem like they're happy after a while but you gotta be careful because it's usually fake. Depending on how serious your sisters issues are counselling may or may not work which is why it's better off if you got somebody who's closest to check on her.
