Yeah, apparently most people think that their Congressman is ok, it's all the other Congressmen that are the problem.
But to be fair, there's no real reason to think that putting new people in Congress would really change anything. Until we have actual campaign finance reform (a pipe dream, I know) people in Congress are going to spend most of their effort pandering to and serving the interests of the people funding their campaigns (ie. rich people). Right now, people in Congress spend 30-70% of their time trying to raise money (and you can guess who the people with the money are) so until that changes, it honestly doesn't matter that much who's in office, even if we threw out the incumbents we'd just end up with some new corrupt people. Depressing, but it's true.
