Just got a rejection email 2 YEARS after I applied to a job

I just recently found out that during the green card process for work visas the govt posts jobs with no intent of hiring people just to see if there’s qualified Americans for that position 
I mean I kinda get the point but there’s hella dint jobs out here being put up with no intentions to hire applicants

Yeah I'm in the process of looking for new jobs and realized the only way you getting the position is if you already work for the company (hence the reason the job qualifications can be so ridiculously specific), or have a good strong connection within the company that can put in a good word or have you work within their department and put you on.
Other than that applying to job boards online is almost a waste of time.

The flip side is just as bad, I did a phone interview for a job in August, I be applying just to see if they paying more for my position, just to see what's out there and keep my interview skills up to date, them mu'fukkas ghosted on me for a hot minute. I got a call and voicemail this January 3rd talking about, "we are moving onto the second phase" mayne please
It smelled like they hired someone, that person fukked up, and now they calling back the people they interviewed looking for a replacement
I really wasn't interested so I ghosted right back at them
