Congratulations! My wife was accepted into her program and has her orientation today. That mess ain’t easy to get in. Not those for-profit schools but real programs. Now, you will have to do a LOT of preliminary things.

finna be busy as fukk for the rest of the year but it will be so worth it
Assuming you’re a male, take this seriously and come out shining. Because if you get a nursing license, getting good jobs is going to be a cakewalk because there are so few males in nursing. This is from someone whose wife is a registered nurse. She only had two dudes in her nursing class and one didn’t make it through.

Some of y'all missed the damn boat. My wife on a travel assignment making 28k a month after taxes off her RN cert.

Appreciated it brehs! I do have a shyt ton of preliminary things to do, including a drug test, I’ll have to see if they can adjust any deadlines since they accepted me after they had orientation. Either way I’ll be good, I’ll most likely be posting on here less but I’m ready to take on the challenge!

What department does she work in?! :damn:

@Womb Raider I just finished an accelerated program recently. PM me if you have any questions, I also have a lick on free textbooks if you don't mind e-books.

Congrats breh. :salute:

(Now the reality check :sadcam:)

Graduated from an accelerated nursing program 10yrs ago.

Believe me when I tell you, you are about to experience Hell On Earth.

Get organized and disciplined ASAP or don't even bother wasting your time doing this shyt.

Getting my original Bachelor's was an absolute joke compared to nursing school. I did more reading and writing in 4 months than I did in 4 years of college. And I was a fukking journalism major.

:dead:

Having said that, the actual day to day nursing experience is a walk in the park compared to the grueling grind of an accelerated program. Keep your nose to the grindstone and you'll be prepared for whatever the field throws at you. :jawalrus:

(Assuming you haven't murdered your professors or still have your sanity intact by then :lolbron:)
