Had a similar situation, well no fist fight lol
But if you live in one of those kinds of towns then you likely paying a water/city bill every month and that includes the trash pick up. When they refused to pick my trash can up I called the city on them, and they got sent back out to my residence after they shift. They got to my house around 8 pm that night but they had to come back and get what they missed.
People think the trash man can do what he wishes at his discretion, well he can't his job is to get the damn gatbarge, so pick up the damn garbage.
Bad side tho, the garbage man used to pick up our trash around 11 am, after I filed the complaint they re ordered there route and now they come on my block 1st thing in the morning 6:30-7 am hoping I don't have my can out there smh lol
But they don't know I am a early bird anyway so when I hear they truck coming up the street I like to run out there and let them see me putting the trash cans right out there with the

Absolutely despise trash men and they are the scum of the earth. They used to come through my apartments at like 5 in the morning all loud and shyt waking me up until someone basically made a trap where they pulled to get the trash and their truck got stuck and it was like 3,000 dollars to get it out.
