A lot of those neogaf dudes browse this site. When the "Jay-Z goes swimming" thread blew up over here someone over there linked to this site, and everyone was
at the smilie selection here. So they probably just took them.Outside of a few threads Neogaf is incredibly wack and I'm not sure why anyone would want to post there. You can't say/do shyt. If we took the same posters from over here, over there, 90% of us would get banned within the first week.

Anyway, it took them months to activate my account. I went on there, and got permi-banned the same day.

Neogaf is like a minefield especially on the gaming side, even if you read the TOS there's still a ton of unwritten rules there. So tread lightly breh.
We can't compete with people on NeoGAF. They have to stay on gaming websites, constantly refreshing to get the news as fast as they do. Also, a lot of threads here that aren't about GTA/COD/Battlefield/NBA 2K/Mainstream AAA games don't do numbers here and get quickly buried.
I'm not saying we can compete with them like that. I'm just saying people shouldn't be making thread about how they signed up for them.
This forum is different than most gaming related sites because of the posters/moderation. All I'm saying is, the quality can be improved if we want it to be. The main problem is, people don't know where to draw the line between trolling and being an a$$hole on topics opposed to just being able to have a discussion on here.
I actually like the relaxed moderation on here. I think most problems would be solved if people just ignored the trolls, but it seems like people can't resist replying to obvious trolling.
