That Cameroon/Congo percentage is pretty interesting. I thought most slaves sent to Jamaica were mostly Akans and to an extent Igbos

Central African Ancestry is extremely common in every diaspora group
There was even Congolese folks that came willingly to Jamaica after emancipation

i've done some things, so it's best i just keep my dna to myself. anyway.....i sleep well at night believing my roots are grade A 100% african.

They used a site called Gedmatch which is not a DNA testing company but a site where testers can voluntarily post their DNA for further research using tools they have on the site.

Additionally, on the actual DNA testing sites, there are options to completely wipe out your DNA from their database. If you elect that option, and further down the line they’re still using your results, you can sue.

Be sure to do your genealogy too, not just the genetic test breh.

A lot of people don’t understand this. The genealogy bit enhances the genetic results. It gets so advanced that you can start triangulating which part of your ancestry comes from which family line.

I've seen a lot Jamaicans with benin/Togo too.
As far as Cameroon Congo, it seems like they had a significant prescience throughout the colonies. But after that the colonies were dominated by a few particular ethnic groups.

From my understanding, Benin/Togo slaves was mostly sent to Haiti but would trade with the English from time to time.

There's plenty of Malians in the BX. Especially near 175th where they have their own mosque i used to frequent for prayers as a kid.
