Just got racially profiled smh

not black, samoan. some fakkit ass coward called the cops on me when i was sitting on the sidewalk next to my car waiting on my brother to bring my spare key as i left my keys locked in my car. at my university library of all places where i was meeting up with class mates doing a group project.

it sucks, hurts your soul when people think the worst of you even when they dont know you. cant let these people get u down. cuz it can eat u up by wondering why this happened.

Sorry this happened to you, OP. I don't think I've ever been racially profiled. I guess I've just been fortunate in that regard but I don't put anything past "others." So I keep my guard up anyway.

never really bothered by profiling in stores. I fukk with them (the workers) whenever they come at me because I know what I’m there for and most workers inside these places don’t have a clue about watching someone to see if they’ve shoplifted. There have been times when I seen workers profile one person and then totally miss the real shoplifter. Last one happened about 2 months ago at a service stop in England. Seen a white man steal bottles of champagne and run out the building. By the time they realized they got ‘got’, the man was already out of sight and off the premises. If they were less concerned with me and my friends shoplifting, they would have noticed the white man stealing alcohol

Most security is scared off when you actually make eye contact with them though. That is, unless, they just want to fukk with you and they have that bully syndrome. But most I’ve seen, whenever I make eye contact with any law enforcement, they usually change their tune, or reveal their mood.

I've been profiled so much I lost count, but...

I'll never forget working at Finish Line as a teenager. We had a theft problem. Mostly customers, but someone theorized an employee was guilty.

They brought some store manager in from Michigan, and he basically fired 95% of the staff (mostly black) because he just knew we were stealing shyt. Come to find out months later, one of the white kids was smuggling shoes out of the store. And of course, this same kid would hang out with him outside of work.



I think about how he used to thoroughly check my bags... Even my binder full of CD's. All the kids just tryna get that 30% discount and blow their entire check on a pair of Jordans and a pack of Baller Bands.

Fired for nothing.
