Well my experience with BCT, my DS didn't promote the people that tried to kiss ass. They were evaluated in that department by performance and staying low key. I wasn't all "Hooah Hooah" and still would of gotten promoted in Basic if I wasn't an E3 already coming in.

Or don't deploy, get a great job that translates well into civilian work, and get Hawaii as your second duty station while you literally get paid to go to get a degree on top of the free money you get towards it to begin with.

I was getting shot at before I joined the army. My mindset towards joining was that I'd at least have insurance should I get shot again. Shocking truth is that unless you go looking for that life, odds are it won't find you.

35 papa. If you don't pick that you're an idiot. You're back up should be 25C but there's a real possibility you'll get stuck in a BCT or asked to go to airborne then Ranger battalion. if you ain't about that life I'd tread carefully. Stay away from 13 series. Field artillery is lame.

19K is tanker

14 series is aviation

18 x-ray is Special Forces

pick Intel breh. 35papa and don't look back. You'll get a TS clearance
