Don't listen to anyone in here talking about Jims, Geno's or Pat's
Those are tourist traps and no one from Philly eats that shyt. I never had Pats or Genos in my life. I had jims once but the one on Cottman ave not the tourist one on South St.

Iskhabibbles and Maxes are kind of tourist spots now but Philadelphians actually eat there. Delassadros is my favorite on Ridge Ave. You can get quality jawns at most papi stores though, that's where majority ppl get they cheesesteak

And NEVER eat a cheesesteak outside of philly that's called a "Philly Steak with Cheese" . that's a telltale sign they probably not even from philly and possibly never been

I’ve heard numerous times how nobody from philly eats pats or Genos..yet the 2 times I went it was nothing but philly people there

So everybody would name max, Jim or ishkabibble for a while

But now since they got the name out there..they name even more

Don’t listen to this guy. There’s multiple Jim’s locations throughout the city and the outlying areas. I go to the one in Springfield, PA the most. Tourists are not going to Springfield breh Everyday Philly muthafukkas go there because the shyt is bomb.
