If you want to be exact, use an online calculator with your actual figures and get the amortization schedule for 15 (or how ever many) years you desire. That way you can budget an actual amount.

i just talked to some finance dikkhead this morning about investing, but honestly im not even sure i'm feelin that. if my loan is losing 4.5 interest, then i feel like id be better off just throwing any extra cash at the loan instead of gambling on getting over 5% back
Investing isn't that much a gamble.

Invest in an index fund that tracks the S&P500. You'll make money and you're so young that even if the market goes down one or two years it will recover and you'll still make money. Even with the crash of 2008 the market recovered.

the real issue is that was gonna kill my apartment and move in with my parents to wait this out, and it should have been 2-4 weeks at the most. but then if i do that, she could fukkin jerk me around for months and theres not shyt i can do about it

nah, definitely not. i met her asking price, she said she had no wiggle room and its a fair number so i dont give a fukk. the issue is that she has to find a condo to buy herself, a smaller one. but who the fukk goes house hunting when they're fukkin 70 years old :beli:
