If dude broke his ankle and police were there, they are taking a report. Even if you don't want it, the fact that they were there and saw the injured party they are taking a report. Especially if an ambulance/emt showed up. Even if he was like "nah, I'm good" but his ankle is broken police are taking a report because at any time he could go to the hospital, and be like "I was in an accident, the police were there!" So to avoid any liability issues they are taking a report, getting your name, address, vehicle plate and vin, telephone number as well as his info.

You might not have gotten a ticket or charged but they took a report. Or you just lyin.

Wasn't my fault my light was green and the young brother about 20 comes flying through the intersection doesn't even look my way. Put my brakes on fast as possible. His bike hit the side of the bumper he flew on the windshield and rolled off. I get a out ask if he's alright he talking bout my bad. police came talked to a witness decided it was his fault. No police report filed.

He has a broken ankle. I got some cracks in my windshield and some scrapes on The bumper. No point in filing a claim because I no he don't got it.

100% this biker could easily contact a lawyer. Get a report filed immediately

Get the police report done asap have it in writing from the officer. If this guy gets an attorney they gonna file a claim on you any way.

All it takes is for him to be walking home and see an ad for Morgan & Morgan to think about or he got some type of annoying pain for him to think about it.

Never walk away without documentation. For all you know he gonna pull a witness out his ass and paint a whole another narrative.

You may be good and he ain't gonna push the issue. Or he shows up with 10k of medical bills and your insurance company might mess around and pay 50 percent of it on a 50/50 split because the witness he created has you at fault.

I never said there weren't Black A-hole bicyclists though. And the fact is regardless of your ethnicity, if you're on a bicycle in a high traffic area and you're either riding like an entitled dikk-head or riding without being on your Ps & Qs since the other vehicles on the road are WAY more of a threat to you than you are to it, then yes, you deserve your just desserts. Gazelles are cautious around lions for obvious reasons. You'd think a human on a flimsy bicycle would be as cautious about their own life as a gazelle, but as usual I'm giving average human intelligence too much credit.

As for what "urban" is code for, I couldn't give a flying fukk about made up definitions. Any New York City head on this forum can tell you that the main subset of entitled bicyclists in the most urban of urban cities are the white hipster types. To agree with this dumb a$$ notion that urban automatically means "Black" while removing all context is completely low level thinking, and strays as far away from reality as can be considering many urban areas are teeming with white people these days. At least so is the case for NYC. Do you get it now?

Yeah as a motorist a$$hole bicycle/motor bike riders annoy me as much as the next motorist. I still aint gone celebrate one getting hit though. Especially a young breh who still wet behind the ears. Maybe op did do not just society but young breh a favor, if by favor u mean teach him a lesson he was able to walk(or in this case limp)away from. Maybe now he will be more cautious which is a win for everybody.
