I think that 3000 has the same problem Lauryn Hill has. Folks who are really afraid to get back into the marketplace and would rather live on their past glories rather than come out with some new music that people can vibe to.

It is what it is.
The dude rapped at the highest level for 13 years, he's about 40 years with mad different things going on.
Perhaps he's just tired of making music, has enough money and has made enough music.
Don't compare him and Lauryn Hill, she was rapping at the highest levels for 2-3 years.

He doesn't owe you or anyone else anything at all. It's like telling Bill Gates that he's afraid of being a CEO of Microsoft and would rather live of his past glories. Some people like Jay-z and Nas just can't stop, they love performing, love making music, keeping track of the youngins, being up in the club with the new generation etc.. Others like Andre, Rakim don't.

Coli nikkas got to be the dumbest, I swear. What does album sales have to do with making good on your god given natural ability?

Also quit with the Kast been in the game 15 + years, how many hiatuses have them dudes took? You condense it and it's not even a decades worth of material. Guys like Wayne and Pac put out more material in a year than these dudes. That is clearly underachieving. The success Kast and GB had only makes it that much clearer.

Yes, he does.

You might not think so, but he does.

They put out 6 albums in 12-13 years and Big Boi kept on putting out solo albums while Andre in his mid 30s chose to focus on other shyt.
They've got more albums with super high ratings than your favorite artist/group, how that equals underachieving is what the fukk I'm wondering.

Do you have to put out 10+ albums, to not underachieve in your opinion?

I don't think so and I clearly stated why I thought so.
You are just here saying shyt, without no reasoning and acting like it's fact.

I never said they didn't put out great material but they were very conscious of the amount they put out on the streets. I hold legends to a higher regard than most. Also, I could care less what a critic got to say.

Them Lo Lifes...
Actually, Cee-lo was the standout in the crew...

As was Bustah to LONS..

Ice Cube to NWA

Etc

Cee-lo went for self, rest is history....Didnt Gip get a solo album as well?

Nicca cant ressurect the crew by himself fueled by his personal accolades...

Didnt work with MJ and Jackson 5..

They put out and album every other year for 12 straight years, just like ehm Nas, Cube and most artists who weren't active in the 60s, 70s..

They put out 5 multiplatinum, generally heavily (not just by critics but by the hiphop community) acclaimed albums, I don't think you can name a lot of artists in the past 30 years who have done this. Michael Jackson in his nearly 40 year long solo career, put out 5 multiplatinum albums that were heavily acclaimed (even counting HIStory).

They work with quality over quantity, Jay might've put out 12-13 solo albums but if he wanted to put out nothing but super dope albums it would've been 6-7 albums instead. E-40 might put out 20 albums but more than half of them are between ass and aight. I appreciate the different ways of operating.

And Cee-lo Green has put 6 albums (7 with the GMob album) during the 2000s, how is that underachieving according to your thought process?

i bet you big boi wish he could sing right now...being a good rapper and constantly feeding you with new mixtapes is not gon bring in no bread plain and simple...the music industry is not scheduled for talented rappers...

Cee-Lo has some quality material but it could be WAY more if he didn't go top 40 pop Cee-Lo Green but I get it, "get money"
