The dude rapped at the highest level for 13 years, he's about 40 years with mad different things going on.I think that 3000 has the same problem Lauryn Hill has. Folks who are really afraid to get back into the marketplace and would rather live on their past glories rather than come out with some new music that people can vibe to.
It is what it is.
Perhaps he's just tired of making music, has enough money and has made enough music.
Don't compare him and Lauryn Hill, she was rapping at the highest levels for 2-3 years.
He doesn't owe you or anyone else anything at all. It's like telling Bill Gates that he's afraid of being a CEO of Microsoft and would rather live of his past glories. Some people like Jay-z and Nas just can't stop, they love performing, love making music, keeping track of the youngins, being up in the club with the new generation etc.. Others like Andre, Rakim don't.
