He's a WR that converted to CB midway through college.
He has all of the skills needed to be an elite corner, but he's not there yet. He's only in year 2. Teams keep trying him because they feel the risk is worth the reward. Early in the year, he was shutting whoever he covered down, and QB's were respecting him. As the season progressed, and teams got more film on him, they saw flaws and started to exploit them.
With more work, he will get better.

Very true, AJ Terrell is criminally underrated. That nikka be shutting shyt the fukk down. He'll proly dip out of Atlanta when his contract up for the very reason you stated. He'll continue to be underrated as long as he is a falcon.
He's not as good as the media makes him out to be and this is coming from a Cowboys fan. He's got the skills though to be elite. He just needs to play fundamental football more and stop looking for the big play do much. If he does that he won't get the chance to grab 11 picks anymore.
