TL;DR - if you have 11 INTs and no one considers you the main reason why your team's defense has any respect... something's wrong one way or the other.

Long version: Best ball skills of any CB in the league. Short memory, which is good for the position. Knowing this, he is probably looking for interceptions moreso than actually erasing a WR until he gets the finer points of the position. With this in mind, teams know they can capitalize on his aggression and thus he is consistently susceptible to double-moves and elite route-runners.

If your defense's number one objective -- not strength, objective. There's a difference -- is to cause turnovers and you're willing to live with gambling, he's the best corner in the league.

If your defense's number one objective is to actually stop people... then do not put him on the opponent's top WR/route-runner.

I think he has all the potential in the world but God help Cowboys nation if he shadows a Davante Adams-type in the playoffs.

A lot of these int are good plays tho but some are just purely luck

A lot? I count 4 as good plays. 1-2 tipped balls, WR fell down on another. Poor QB play on most of the rest. Like that throw from Heinicke, WR ran a good route and he had all that room to throw that ball towards the sideline where it should be placed. Instead he under threw it basically directly to Diggs.

You can literally nitpick any cornerback with a high volume of interceptions (see below). There are bound to be tipped passes, WRs falling, and QBs making errant throws. You still have to make the fukking play, how many DBs do we see week in and week out drop passes that could be takeaways. But if its a Cowboy every thing they do has to be picked apart.

poor throw

pass sailed/thrown right to him

:picard: You seem to be emotionally invested in this argument breh I'm not hating on the kid. He has great ball skills, never said otherwise. Just giving my opinion on the plays in that video which would have been the same no matter which jersey was being worn. No need to take it so personal, there is no need for me to irrationally hate on the Cowboys/players.
