the bucks literally put a bandaid on a bullet wound with this move.

their team still sucks and will not be competitive despite indiana and and boston being down.

they should have traded giannis for 5 picks to restart their rebuild since they are capped out and have no picks. cuz they traded them all for jrue holiday.
This aint 2K. Rebuilding is neither easy nor guaranteed. You got one of the best players in the league in his prime...go do all you can to try to win. May not work. But shyt...at least try.

Super short sighted.
You think tanking a year with a prime Giannis with the hope that a 6'3 PG in his late 30s is gonna be good as new after an Achilles is a good idea? At some point you actually gotta play games right now. Everything cant be good for 5 or 10 years down the road. We can say what we wil about doing this for Myles Turner. But what were the better options? I will always respect a team that goes for it rather than sitting on their hands, selling future dreams.

Didn't deserve to be there anyway. One of the biggest false images in basketball.

Career loser who due to great marketing and social media hype people think he's better than he actually is. Can't defend, always gets spanked in the playoffs, he'll never win as a main player on any team, even a dream team.

Giannis wanted them to get a star, they brought back Dame and he's too stupid to realize they got him a Go-bot instead of a Transformer.

5 star fukking post. Dame aint nothing but a shorter Melo. Straight loser.

The Bucks are gonna really regret this move

Dame had two more years on his deal. They could of just rode it out next year than try to buy him out but now he's on the books for 5 more years with the waive and stretch

They did all this just to sign Myles Turner :mjlol:

I respect that the GM tries but he is going to regret this move

He just digging the hole deeper and deeper :pachaha:

Giannis is crazy for staying there they have no future this situation is insane
you just hit on why people are pretending to be angry on Dame's behalf. It's delaying the outcome everyone apparently wants, which is Giannis somewhere else.

You just explained why they didn't, and we're gonna see that more and more with these teams that do these crazy swaps and trades. Either you gonna keep going for it or if you start over, have something better on deck to get your picks back. Brooklyn was able to get most of theirs.

What you don't want is having to tank and not have your picks, cuz now those picks are golden tickets. It's why Brooklyn thinks a 2032 unprotected Nuggets pick is worth having to watch Michael Porter Jr. be a disappointment for 2 years.

The best shot was potentially getting the 2nd pick this year cuz you can sell Harper. Can't sell Giannis for 5 late picks scattered throughout the rest of the decade.

Funniest thing is Giannis pretending he didnt know it was coming and upset by it....NBA is a soap opera so much bad acting going on...
You think Giannis knows how the salary cap works :mjlol: :mjpls:

Dude convinced Turner to come to the Bucks and left for the summer. Aint no way he gave any consideration to how the Bucks would sign Turner. That's some other person's job :mjpls:

Some people in the Bucks org weren't happy that he wanted to rehab in Portland near his family.
