D1 schools don't have these on going problems because they get money from their sports programs and have a larger student population going to their schools.

there is a precedent for this with Clark Atlanta.... but then again, those schools were in close proximity to each other. That wouldn't work with say Miles College in Birmingham and Stillman in Tuscaloosa 50 miles away

I applaud the school for opening its doors to brehs. But, given the cost of attendance, some of those brehs who are ill-prepared for college would be better off going to a community college or trade school as opposed to racking up student loan debt.
