This is because Lexus doesn't make a ton of LS cars, and the fact that the LS460 (L included) is out of production. Great car, but can get REALLY expensive in a hurry to fix if you buy a used one that wasn't maintained very well (heat exchanger leaking comes to mind). Also, since the 460 is the last LS car that's going to have a V8, they're going to hold their value very well (F-Sport models even more so).
