Mark Rose is accused of posing as a police officer and threatening to arrest a prostitute if she refused to have sex without a condom.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -
A South Florida man told a prostitute that he was a police officer and that he would arrest her if she refused to have sex without a condom, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

According to a BSO report, Mark Rose, 22, was arrested Wednesday on charges of false imprisonment and impersonating a law enforcement officer in the commission of a felony.

Rose told arresting deputies that he had used the fake officer bluff about a dozen times, with three women conceding to sex, the report said.

Rose's lawyer refuted the false imprisonment charge, saying it wasn't the first time a man lied to a woman to have sex.

Rose was being held on $10,000 bond.
