Strong nooc vibes in some of these posts. There’s a reason why he has to charge $50 a wop to suckers like the OP and that’s because he can’t relate to his own people to grow his clientele :mjpls:

You paid $50 to keep a lonely ass barber company :mjlol:

You paid $50 not for the cut, but for the "modern, vintage, private 1 on 1, intimate, on some grown man shyt" experience.

I’m a c00n because I paid a black man $50 to cut my hair and lineup my beard without any extra bullshyt:mjlol:

How many young black men you helping to support if we gonna speak on this c00n shyt:mjpls:

I’m about to get a young black man a job working for my father... he literally came to my car one day asking if I had work from him. I got his grandmas number and told him I’ll see what I can do:mjpls:

I’ve helped even young black men on this forum with their lives and careers:mjpls:

I adopted my young black nephew who’s momma and daddy died and he ran away from his other “family”:mjpls:

My lil brother just randomly texted that he loved me an hour ago for always having his back (not for money)... but I’m a c00n now:mjpls:

Please... enlighten me on how not to be a c00n then. How do you do it?

shyt just last night I’m at the “hood” corner store and a lil breh ran up on me asking for change. I gave him whatever I had in my car and he went inside the store and bought food (I watched him). He came out and dapped me up and ran home... but I’m the c00n now:hubie:

I’ve documented my barbershop experiences many times on this forum... as well as others. I know a lot of brehs relate to it being frustrating as fukk... it is why I started shaving my head

I document ONE positive, classy experience and nikkas mad about the price. Or the fact that it wasn’t on no “hood” shyt:mjpls:

I'm glad you had a nice experience OP.

But surely you knew that this post would rouse the insecurities of those less financially well off.

I always have a hard time knowing how much to pay because a family member cuts my hair (professional barber) and he never asks for anything. I just throw him $25-$30 dollars each time.

$50 doesn't sound too insane for what sounds like a relaxing haircut and professional experience.

Im not rich breh. I barely spend money on just myself. I haven’t even bought new clothes in almost a year until last week

I just prefer quality shyt. This was my first $50 haircut experience and I thought it would be interesting to share.

But ofcourse I knew this was going to happen :mjlol:

20-30 is normally what I pay and you ain’t missing shyt by going to a regular shop

@O.T.I.S.

Why not go this route? Many black men with hair issues are going this route.

I don’t have hair issues:mjlol:

I got tired of trying to find a regular barber and going to random barbershops. I shaved my head being lazy because of the “experience”.

I just randomly chose this spot because I heard he was good af. I didn’t even know about the “exclusive” shyt until I was buzzed into his building :mjlol:

I just find it funny that $50 is an expensive-ass haircut for Black men :heh: (I pay $15 + $5 tip).

Women would call $50 for a haircut a steal. :issaheh:
Right:mjgrin:

Females might spend hundreds a month. My girl spends hundreds a month for her hair, nails, etc...

I spend $50 funky ass dollars... $20 I would probably normally pay for regular bullshyt and service, at a place that was dope af and suddenly I get “finessed”

Homie even lets you drink whiskey if you ask. nikka had a wine bar.
