Thinking of getting a dress watch next.

Possibly the Raymond Weil Freelancer.
Not sure if this qualifies technically as a dress watch. Not sure what else you'd call it. But I have a larger wrist so I kinda want something 41-42mm with a lug to lug in that 47-50mm range.

An Omega boutique is opening up near me and I've wanted a chronograph for some time, but man I've been leaning towards a cleaner, more versatile watch. I even looked at the Zenith El Primero as a nice chronograph

The Grand Seikos have came back on my radar as something that would fit the bill.

I also like the Peacock but I don't think I can get my hands on one at a reasonable price. The reason I like the GS line is that they seem like solid everyday watches. Slightly under stated but also noticeable enough to illustrate you have nice taste. I tend to wear more smart casual stuff nowadays so it could be a good option for me.

I don’t know how many times you visit a timepiece boutique just to browse, but I would advise you to limit the amount to 3. As someone who’s in that industry we loathe browsers to the point you’d get flat out ignored if you don’t make a purchase or you won’t develop a good relationship with your SA and they won’t show you the good stuff in the back or if you have a request for a model. No hate just keeping it real

Thanks man. I actually talked to him yesterday and I went today to make the purchase. They rolled out the Japanese Whisky, got into the GS10 club, and also got a Grand Seiko book.

The guy I was talking to was another breh so I wanted to support Black. Also I had good rapport and convo with him.

Glad I got it. I'm actually going to the new Omega shop where I live so I'll be mindful of the limit to 3 rule.
