Just played a few hours of Assassin's Creed 3..

I truly don't understand the hate ppl have for this franchise. I think its just the cool thing to do like COD since they are similar in terms of releases. But AC3 is a damn good game. There is literally hundreds of things to do in that game so what is this "its so repetitve shyt" coming from 
Im thinking some of you have only played the first and based your opionion of that to cover the rest of the games. It has its bugs/glitches but I guarantee the same ppl who complain about it go 
when shyt like fallout is brought up. But I would like the franchise to take a year or two off to really update the engine, combat mechanics, etc

I had a great time playing AC3 and the DLCs. It had its share of problems but overall a great game. Not as great of a game as AC2 and AC Brotherhood, but much better than AC1 and AC Revelations. I'm just happy AC is bringing back Assassin Tombs in AC4

I enjoyed it while I was playing it. Thought the combat animations were pretty entertaining. The combat does feel like a poor man's Arkham City. It had its moments. I do honestly agree these games can get really boring at times. I think it was revelations which I found so boring I didn't even bother with. Also in AC3, 
at the ship levels.
Brotherhood is still my fav in the series. Doing the birdcall and having your assassins wipe out a guard from far away while you sit there and watch them never gets old.
Overall, I will say I've lost a lot of interest in this series.

I'm kinda mystified why Ubi pushes the AC games so hard, and not their other games. every other time I watch something game related on youtube, I gotta sit through a Black Flag add. I was in SF last december and the city was plastered with AC3 adds (granted that's where they made the game). but I hardly saw any advertisement for Far Cry 3
Running around and killing guards is always fun but the series has gotten way too repetitive. I liked AC III but at the same time, thought it was a bit boring. The last great AC game was AC II. I wish they didn't feel the need to keep rushing a new one out every year.
Ubisoft needs to stop bullshytting and give us that feudal japan setting

-Loading Screens everywhere
-Glitches (falling into floors, lips not moving during cutscenes..ect)
-Worst controls of all time...
*Running feels retarded, and the free running mechanics are just..they might as well throw in a cutscene as soon as you press R1. These nikkas never played infamous or uncharted? cmon breh
*Sword fighting and hand-to-hand combat is a joke, feels like a cheap version of fable's combat which is bad in itself.
*The targeting systemR1 is dedicated to toggling a slow-moving reticle that highlights characters for auto-target? I can't just aim and shoot freely?!!...
*The game pauses completely to cycle through new weapons...
Never played a game where the controls literally fight against you.
-Stealth is just broken, plain and simple. They put 0 effort into stealth mechanics.
I cut this shyt off after the first few missions, absolute worst franchise of this gen easily.

There is nothing fun about this game....
Honestly i tried to play it but its just unplayable, right down to the shytty ass graphics. I know Ubisoft paid off these review companies because aint no way in fukk any decent gamer would score this above a 5.
The controls were a straight insult to my intelligence, not to mention the game is flat out boring. Can't even run for 2 seconds without alerting the gaurds, and not that i can't avoid them because the fukking running controls like a kart racing game.
Im about to promptly return this shyt where i got it from.
