One of my sweet dogs got so sick a couple of years ago and he was definitely in so much pain, we were going to have to have him put down the next day
He came home with us and died with all of his "ladies"

I don't know what happened. He was fine two days ago but I went out to feed him last night and this mf wouldn't budge. I'm yelling his name like but he just sat there. Turned on the lights and eventually he got up but was walking around very slow, then I noticed he didn't eat his food from the day before(I fed him at night). All he wanted was water. Checked on him this morning before I went to work and he was still the same. Got him some wet food from the store and mixed with the dry food when I was on my break and he nibbled on it but wasn't really eating it. Checked on him again when I got off and he wouldn't budge again so I had to entice him with water for him to try to walk around but he just laid on the ground in pain. Called moms and she said take him to the vet to see what's up although the vet was telling us on the phone that it may be his time, twelve-year old Rottie. Took him, breh checked him out, and said his body was deteriorating and that there was not much he could do. Didn't want to see my dawg like that so I was like go ahead. Dapped my boy up and that was that.
Shyt was hard
Had me all up in the vet office crying n shyt

Your dog sounds like he died EXACTLY the way mine died like three months ago, man. Woke up one day to meet this dude not giving a shyt and not eating. The funny thing is he refused to get up, like he was in pain or something but not saying shyt. Took him to the vet and he died there within 3 days on some bullshyt. Seeing you type this shyt had me wondering if this is some odd occurrence in Rottweilers that suddenly manifests without warning. This shyt didn't gradually happen, we woke up to this shyt. Condolences, man.

Our dog wasn't eating (and he never turned down food-greedy little boy )or drinking didn't move around as much
Took him to the vet they ran lots of tests thought maybe an infection put him on some meds
They called me back the next day cause his blood work came back bad.
Did an xr a y and he had a massive tumor pressing on his lungs and stomach.
He wasn't able to eat or drink.
If my Dr didn't X ray we would have never known the cause. He would have just passed at home.

Damn g. Dogs are man's best friend. Had a walk in closet back in the day. My dog used to stay in there. She was a pit. Sweet dog, put her head on your lap when you were upset. She always knew. Anyway she got old and we had to put her down. shyt was horrible.
