stopped reading after that :snoop:

Seriously?

Varejao, Jamison, Shaq, Mo Williams, Ilgauskas, Anthony Parker, Boobie Gibson, JJ Hickson, Delonte West....at that time they constituted a very strong roster. And the Cavs was #1 in the Power Rankings for the majority of that season and came out on top of the East.

Don't be ridiculous.

Gotcha ... Lamar Odom, Derek FIsher, Trevor Ariza, Robert Horry, Rick Fox are just bums

I admit that I forgot Odom. And Trevor Ariza had one good individual season during his time on the Lakers. Yet he came into his own after he left. The others were role players at best.

Look, LeBron had a substantial amount of help in Miami. He teamed up a Finals MVP/all-star/future HOFer/olympian and an all-star/olympian when he joined the Heat. He got even more help with the arrival of the greatest 3-point shooter of all time. And let's not act like LeBron didn't have substantial talent around him on that 2009 Cavs team.

Outside of Shaq (a legend, granted) Kobe's help on the Lakers was borderline pedestrian until Pau Gasol and, to a lesser extent, Metta World Peace joined his team.

LeBron's had more help than Kobe throughout his entire career. Anyone denying this is flat out wrong.
:usure:

8/9 seasons of Shaq and then 5/6 seasons of combinations of Pau/Bynum/Odom/Ariza/Artest, Dwight/Nash/Pau (not to forget the GOAT coach PJ) is MUCH more help than 4/5 seasons of Wade/Bosh/Shooters and Love/Irving

Your narrative is trash at least come up with something substantial, that's just fukking dumb

Only if LeBron could have sidekicked Shaq for rings his first 7 seasons, he had too settle with Mo Williams and drop damn near 40/10/10 to get knocked out the ECF and have historical performances. :camby:

Look, we can all amicably agree to disagree but consider this.

2009-10 Cavs-
Starters:
Mo Willams: Averaged 16 points, shot 43% from three, 90% F/T's and averaged 5.3 assists (despite not being the primary ball handler)

Antwan Jamison: 16 and 8 on 48% and 34% from three.

Shaq: Shot 56% and his per 36 avg was 19 and 10. He would have put up better numbers if he saw more of the ball, he only got 8 shot attempts per game.

Anthony Parker: Defensive specialist and excellent shooter (41% from three)

Bench:
Big Z (7'3" career starter)
Anderson Veraejao
Delonte West
J.J Hickson
Booby Gibson (shot 48% from three)

How much help did he need? Surely "the greatest player in the world" could win it with this team.

And there's no way only one player is responsible for a team having the best record in a conference and being #1 in the Power Rankings.

But we can agree to disagree.

Lebron just turned 30 and Swagnificent is in here shoveling dirt on him already

at 30, the best years of an athlete are behind em. the only wings who extended their prime into their 30s were jordan and kobe. other than that no one else did. and they were able to do it because they mastered the mid-range game and learned not to rely on their athleticism.

lebron still relies on his athleticism. being able to put his head down and get to the rim. once that goes. he goes.

they disbanded the team stupid. mo williams was traded. illguaskas left. west was gone. etc. pretty much only varejoa came back from those cavs teams after bron left.

nikkas need to stop this mythology that the cavs team stayed the same after bron left. cleveland went into full tank mode right after bron made the decision.
