this nikka Book was about to hit the Scissors Kick and his knee gave out :stopitslime:

I remember at the time I was so confused why he didn't win. Now I'm just annoyed that HHH held my guy back :hhh:

That match alone keeps 19 from being 1B to X-7’s 1A

Completely agree. It was still a very good match, but the lengthy pause after the Pedigree, HHH winning the match in general, and the general feel of the feud knocks it down multiple notches. The WWE basically had the guy that was painted as the prejudice bigot slime all WIN the feud. You can’t bring up racism in a feud then have the fukking racist win the match. It doesn’t even matter if the plan was to have Goldberg won the title. You could have easily had Booker T lose the title a month or two later (especially since Goldberg didn’t even win the title to later on on the year).

That Show is my GOAT WrestleMania. EVERY Match was a :ohhh::ooh: to Me, I was really High on 17 but then 19 came through and bodied every Match. I was figured Book wasn't Winning when I saw that he wasn't the Last on the Card. It would have been Great to have Stevie Ray run down and whoop Ric Flair's Ass, have H run to help and get caught in a Book-In for the Win but that just wasn't Possible.:childplease:

That ENTIRE Feud was 1 if the Hardest Ls to except.:mjcry:

The racism in the storyline would've been acceptable (lack of a better term) if Booker actually WON the title. Kofi dealt with subtle racism from Vince last year in the WM 35 build up but it paid off.

Instead Booker let Trips make him look like a punk and he honestly never recovered besides his King Booker run.

That shyt caused me to stop regularly watching wrestling, in particular WWE, for almost a decade. :scust:
Same. It was a Nash/Jericho storyline around that time that I never saw because that's the first time I quit watching in my life. I came back a few years later once Cena had taken over.

Huh? Not realky. Booker showed he had no backbone in 2000 copying the Rock every week in WCW..no real legend or superstar is going for that. It was interesting that he let himself be demanded, punked out, and beaten by a subpar star in 2003 though after convincing Austin to lose that handicap match in 2001.

Nah, that Rock shyt was different. Triple-H was built up as The Blue Blood from Day 1. Then at this point Running Around with Ric Flair on some Brotato Chip shyt, looking down on Booker on top of that. Sure, he got Jobbed Out by Rock but it wasn't taken as harshly as the WrestleMania 19 Loss and the shyt was True because WCW was a People's Champion Knock Off. The Austin L was Funny to Me, nothing to get excited over.
