I think the main problem with this superman movie is that Superman is just too positive of a universe to make "edgy" without losing the soul of Superman.

Goyer as well. If you don't have someone there to fine tune his scripts he can go overboard with nonsense. The man just keeps getting bigger jobs after job. lol Snyder is cool with me but he doesn't seem like type of director that will challenge a writer or a producer if he feels something is not right. Most of the time he pretty much shoots what's in the script to the tee.
