Just saw the first Iron Man for the first time....here are my thoughts

yes yes I know im a few years late. The weird thing is, I saw avengers and absolutely loved it, in fact I saw it twice in the theater w/ my girl. The funny thing is I never saw any of the iron man, hulk , thor, or captain america movies beforehand and still havent except for today i finally watched the first iron man


the movie was just alright, nothing out of this world, and i plan on watching the second one either tonight or tomorrow, but everyone tells me its very weak. I do plan on seeing the iron man 3 in theaters. Thor and captain america movie doesnt interest me at all as solo movies, but for somereason watching them all together intrigues me

Then again ive never been big into comics except for batman

I liked part 1, but I felt like it took a lil too long for us to see Iron Man in all his glory. I really liked the second one though.

The first was solid, as the intro movie it always takes a while to go full throttle with the action. #2 was awful

Had the bootleg of the 1st Iron Man when it came out but every time I tried to watch it I got blunted and fell asleep. Rented the 2nd one when it came out, but got blunted and fell asleep when I was watching it. Caught some of 2 on cable recently and it was I'm sure IM3 will continue the trend. For the record, blunted or not, if a movie is good I wont fall asleep.

Bull. Iron Man 1 is pure piff.

Spider-man 2 > Iron Man > Captain America > Thor > the rest

First one was the only one where Tony Stark swag was natural not forced, plus Iron Man has more of an interesting origin than most super heroes, so this was easily the best marvel one which none other has lived up to yet
also terrance howard was way better as Rhody

u were doing good until this right here.Not that I think cheadle was a suitable replacement but at least his rhodes is a sidekick with a spine and not a walkover howard was.

it was a pretty good comic book movie, but nothing is beating the original turtles live action or the animated transformers movie. 3rd one can't be any worse than the 2nd, or can it?
