Just saw the hunger games...

Movie was good. Actually watched it last night finally. She was NOT attractive in the movie. Those modeling pics are a different story but then again, anyone can get a make up crew and professional photographers and look amazing too.

on to the movie......shyt was straight basura......first half was aiight but by the time it got to the hunger games shyt went completely down the drain

the love story also came outta no where......I still don't know if it was all an act by Jennifer Lawrence's character or whether it was real.....shyt was just awkward

only saving grace of the movie was the lil white girl in the beginning that got picked......you know shorty is gonna be fine as fukk in about 4-5 years

I saw the movie first, thought it was garbage, and then read the books to fill in the gaps. The books are supposed to be about the horrors of war (at least the third book is), so I didn't know it was supposed to be for tweens

Not sure if they're for them per say, but they're typically the ones who eat that shyt up so its marketed towards them.


kinda like Harry Potter. those books are probably very dope and adults can enjoy them, but that's not who they're marketed toward so a grown ass man would probably get laughed at around his boys if he was caught with chamber of secrets in his backpack

I never saw Hunger Games or read the book and never really heard of them shyts until the movie came out. The nikkas I do know who did see it said it was straight.

I did see Battle Royale though which I heard is where the person who wrote the Hunger Games jacked from. Now that movie was ill as fukk. Classic movie. My pops said it's like Hunger Games on steroids. Just straight gangsta epic shyt. The music they play in that shyt is pimp too. Mad different cats taking different types of L's. Movie was complete as fukk.

as far as that little black girl dying, they didn't really develop her character enough to make her death mean anything. that was just badly written to me. she's on screen for what, 15 minutes total before death? I couldn't really buy it. You telling me she knew the little black girl for 15 minutes, and was that shaken by her death?



they should have tried harder to get the audience behind her. I feel like they rushed her death and offed her way too fast.
