I mentioned this movie a few months ago and the thread flopped. Seems like nobody heard of this shyt.

The movie never had a "wide release". Aside from random film festivals like Sundance and Cannes, it was only released in NY and California.

So unless you're a film head, most people have no idea this movie even exists. Anytime a film festival happens I try to check it out online, get a few movie names and watch them later. This was one of the movies. That's also how I heard of Park Chan-wook's "Oldboy" and "Lady Vengeance" and Kim Ji-woon's "I Saw The Devil" and "A Bittersweet Life". All of the movies I named are

so in the end, the motor oil storm with the crazy twisters finally comes. I'm assuming it was accompanied by some huge tsunami, which is why the water was pulling out.

there is no doubt that he was correct all along?

i feel like it would have been cooler if the whole town was there to see it somehow, or if there was some way that everyone could see that he was right all along, instead of his family who had already shown that they didn't care whether or not he was right. i think that this could have been accomplished to give the ending more of a "wow" factor without making it as corny as possible to achieve that.

it was a good movie, i would recommend it to someone who has a boring afternoon, saturday, or sunday to kill off. i enjoyed it.
