I'm sleep-deprived than a muhfukka but I'm in a really good place right now otherwise. 2021 was good to me and 2022 will be better. Career-wise, a new door opened for greater earning potential, and I already earned ~75% more money in '21 than I did in '20...

2020 was a rough year for me, lost a job, took 5½ months to get another one, had to find a new place, and depleted nearly my entire savings on attorney fees and living expenses while losing a BS, trumped-up domestic violence case to my oldest kids' mom. So when I started working again in July 2020, I was starting essentially over from scratch...

The last 17 months of quiet grinding have put me back up financially, making the most money I've made since 2018, and I'm going to finish the year with nearly an identical earned amount as 2017---->except 4 years later, I'm smarter and more savvy with my paper so I have more money in the bank than I did in '17, abd even my high year in '18...

And just to remind people who aren't privy to my prior posts, I'm doing this off of working in restaurants. I have no corporate or 6-figure job, I'm not anything close to wealthy, but I have more money than many people who earn significantly higher salaries because I have an insatiable hunger for learning and knowledge, a will to win and grow, and a hustler's spirit...

I have a woman I've been with for 13 months whose gifted me with my third daughter, and again anyone who knows anything about my post history knows how much I love my daughters and the responsibility I take in being a father. And her and I, there's push and pull and growing pains but overall it's been a good relationship experience for me, even if it ultimately has an expiration date...

I'm hellbent on a specific endgame. This autobiography I write in my 40s is gonna be magical...

I'm saying all that to say, the best advice I ever listened to in recent memory was to "run your own race". Stay grounded in your focus and your foundational beliefs. '21 may not have been great, but stay positive and stay YOU. Everyone has rainy days and tribulations, how you push thru them are what helps define your character. Peace and love to everyone reading this!
