Just started Deadwood

I couldn't get into that show and I tried several times.

Great show, dialogue is really on point and while most people will always bring up Swearengen, you can't really underestimate the rest of the characters. A really strong ensemble show that didn't seem to waste any characters on pointless filler or distracting bullshyt.

I've got the series on Blu-ray but haven't found the time to dedicate to it yet, same goes for Rome. I might put the work in on Deadwood to start the new year.

Deadwood would be great on blu ray. i'm not a fan of westerns at all but loved this show, it's too bad it didn't get a proper ending.

Finished season 1. It was nothing special. There wasn't something that pulled me into the show. The characters are good and writing is solid, but there wasn't anything interesting.

i finished season 1 in like may..its a good show and i love the dialogure and universe and a few of the characters, but its a chore to wach in parts..and i haven't had the desire to start season 1. I may start it in the future but i'd rather watch my movie backlog

You don't get a "payoff" in the grand scheme of things but the major storyline for that season gets wrapped up

I remember being fukked up that W*** B*** was merked so early on. Thinking about it right now still gets me mad.

They could've did so much with that character.
