I really liked Deadwood....and it did get better as it went on IMO. But it got cancelled so it just kind of ends...really didn't get a proper ending. Al Swearagen is still my favorite character from any HBO show ever.
Yeah the ending makes the whole series feel pointless but I kept watching for Calamity Jane and Al Swearengen.

A couple of seasons into season 2, and I'm digging it..but .how did they recast the actor that played ole boy that clipped Wild Bill as a different character completely within the span of a couple of episodes 
...I watched the first season then took a like a month till i picked back up, I seen dude and thought I was bugging...paused the shyt to hit google to put my mind at ease and confirm it's the same cat...the fukk is that about?
