I hated Shane so much that it really took me until Justified to realize how much of a powerhouse of an actor Walton Goggins is

I've seen the character posted a couple times. I would have never expected such a performance from Anthony Andersen

The Shield also has one of the best collective casts of "antagonists" in any one hour drama, both in characterization and performance.

I get the anti hero shyt but I never rooted for Mackey so that was the difference.

Folks should have been got the memo in the very first ep. right after he blows away the undercover cop.

Same happened with Death Note. Folks rooting for the main character because he goes after killers but the first few episodes dude kills a man on TV just because he called him out.

I’m having a hard time getting into it...it was a fun watch when I first watched it as it aired @ the time but now idk...I’m not feeling it like that...I was excited to rewatch it but I still remember a lot of what happened and how they manage to “neuter” men of color on that show
