Still the GOAT Lyrics site to me. Sure they weren't perfect but I like how it didn't "BREAK" anything down like "Rapgenius" tries to unsuccessfully do. It shows you the words and you have to interpret it from there. To me I still think it's a fantastic database of lyrics. Again it wasn't perfect, there were mistakes here or there. But I think it's still a very solid lyrics site.

Who remembers Y2hiphop.com? I think that was one of the first hip hop forums. I wish I could read the archives. I just cheeked and the site is still up. It's asking for a username and password:sadcam:
Yep. That was my site to go to for album release dates. They would have like 8 months worth of confirmed and tentative relase dates, back when those Tuesdays used to mean something :to:
Then they turned strictly into a messageboard. I check every blue moon, but it's only like 3 people who post there :heh:

I don't know how "Flash" makes money to run his sites but I gotta respect the commitment and old-school-ness :wow:

OHHLA and RapReviews have outlived a thousand hip hop magazines and sites

When the asteroid hits and everything goes extinct, a million years from now curious aliens probing signals from a farm in nebraska will find his geothermal-powered server buried somewhere still loading inaccurate lyrics to I Get Around
