This a middle class dude from Toronto going to the biggest blackest country with the worst press on the planet. This ain't some desperate African trekking to Europe thru the Sahara. Hell most of the damn Nigerians on social media talk all kinds of greasy about their country and the people in it.
Whether I need to re-evaluate my life or not I'm still impressed.

thats the problem with a lot blacks in the diaspora when it comes to Africa sometimes theyre even worse than white people when it comes to perceptions...

yeah I felt bad .... i couldnt find my Nigerian passport so i flew in on a visa , the day before i was going back i decided to get a new one, i found out where the passport office was and on the way there I phones someone i knew would have a hookup , he gave me a guys number, by the time I got there he met me at the gate and walked me past all the people outside, the people queuing inside, right to the bosses office
If looks could kill i would have died a million times over
he didnt even ask me for I.D .... he said he would have had it delivered to my house but because it was biometric I would have to wait around to take photos etc...
came back in 3 hours, once again walked past hundreds of people... guy next to me was so excited told me hed been waiting for 6 months .... i didnt have the heart to tell him ... took my passport and bounced ...... my Nigerian license juat appeared on the dining table courtesy of my Dad, i never even asked for one
