I can't wait to get the fukk out of this place. Can't deal with the winters anymore.

6 months of fukking winter and cold.

Even if the winter was 3 or 4 months it would be doable, but 6 fukking months, year-after-year? Everytime you think winter is winding down, you'll get another 20+inch snowstorm and cold prolonging the winter another month, at least.

fukk this place.

I used to rep Minnesota hard and I love everything else about it, but the older I get, the less tolerance I have for the cold.

Also, during its' coldest months, it gets like the fukking Arctic. That windchill will blow your face-off.

Another major factor is the lack of sun. Imagine going months with a grey/cloudy sky. fukk this place.

Also, you like getting sick and having the flu/cold all the time? This is the place for you!

fukk this place. Damn... :wow::mjcry:

I joined west coast gang earlier this year after starting a new job. Best decision ever. Today's weather: clear skies and a breezy 72 degrees:blessed:
Any advice on how to make a move? I have strong roots here, a good job, etc.

How were you able to decide to take the leap?

How is it this cold this soon?

I'm from a literal jungle I'm not built for this shyt

Homeless people sleeping covered in snow...tf?
The winter is a. Grim reaper. It cleans house every year. Catches a lot of bodies amongst the homeless population. When we get below double digits they usually start to round up homeless folks but some still die and post COVID the tent cities have been death sentences in the winter time. Between homeless people blowing shyt up trying to use gas heaters and freezing to death it's a shyt show

I just fukking did it. It helps if your job pays for the move and takes care of most the expenses for the move of course.

I grew up moving to different places so it's not as much a mental barrier for me to up and move somewhere else. So, I understand I may be able to approach it in a muhb more casual way than folks who are used to having roots tied to one spot.

Ill just say this: you have one life to live. If you want to do something, just get rid of all mental hangups and do it. That's the mentality I take when trying something new or doing something outside of my comfort zone.

Grew up in minneapolis and moved to Chicago. Minneapolis winters are cold with a lot of snow in Chicago winters are not as cold but it’s cloudy, dreary and wet so basically 20° and sunny versus 34° and gray windy and wet. but I got sick of it all and eventually just moved to NC so now today I got family from both states sending me videos of snow and I’m taking a walk in 75° cloudless beautiful weather, living the life lol. Minneapolis is a doggo City in most everybody but the weather, of course, like every Midwest city is tough black folks according to the numbers but if the weather was better, I definitely wouldn’t move along time ago but I’m tired of the winter
