The only way you can get the full gigabit bandwidth is if you are connected to the modem with ethernet. Wireless is not going to get you the full bandwidth, so keep that in mind.

Also you will never get full bandwidth on any speed above 60mbps on 2.4 wifi. u can pull at least 200 on 5ghz tho.
