If I needed the money, I would've swallowed my pride and stayed. Sure you have a degree and more skill and knowledge but that doesn't make you more important or better than anyone else in that room. Hopefully you get some other opportunity to get that business you trying to start.

I don't need no lecture... I put pride aside to eat on serval occasion s..I felt like it was beneath me

I don't lecture nikkas on the internet bruh I just give them the game occasionally.

If this job was "beneath you" then you wouldn't have applied, interviewed, or shown up to be trained. Lie to yourself all you want. You knew what you were getting yourself into.

So you went to a job you knew was min wage. Only reason you didnt stay was the age of your co workers? Were you hoping to meet new friends or something. Because sounds like you knew what it was up front. You not only lost small yes but easy gas money. And a chance to network yo side hustle. You coulda been in there like badger/jesse from breaking bad. When they was hustling meth in a rehab[DOUBLEPOST=1397331018][/DOUBLEPOST]

I fukkin' hate them "stand up and introduce yourself" or all that group role-plays. when I worked for at&t and had to be sent on training, this was done every single time.
stupidest shyt ever.

Same thing when I was a teacher...they made us do atleast 3 of those every professional development...biggest waste of time in my 5 years of teaching

I used to try everything in my power to not go to them things. but it was mandatory and it had to be logged into your learning file to keep your job.
we got paid our normal hourly rate and reimbursed for gas and lunch. but damn I coulda been at my store with my homies and making more with commission added up. :manny:

If I would have had that much problem with the position that it would cause me to walk out I probably wouldn't have applied.

You could have used that money strictly for a savings fund for let's say a trip.

Or it could have been your income for gas money.

Income strictly for food.

Weekend money.

Etc.

Your not better than them. You just have an education. You should humble yourself. At least you would have known that you weren't depending on it.[DOUBLEPOST=1397334080][/DOUBLEPOST]

I remember walking out of the first(and only) customer service job I had. I worked it over the summer while I was in college cause I had never had one before and wanted to see what it was all about. It paid $15/hr but it was through an agency and the recruiter lied about what id be doing exactly so I was already mad about that, and at the end of the first week I was ready to put hands on people cause my pride was shot from having to be the bytch of different customers requests, and when I didn't bytch up my supervisor would chew me out for not being personable enough.

That Friday I walked In her office, and threw my keys on her desk and threw up two fingers, I was out.

Difference here is, I got sent off about what the job was, you knew what you were getting into when you applied, but I know exactly how you felt. As long as you got a contingency plan, don't worry about it, but if you needed the money
