I watched the whole thing one night.... it was ok... I guess is was supposed to be psychologically dark... for it's time... but it was meh...I guess the only shocking thing was the part where we saw young jodie foster with dikk flying out her mouth...
Saw it the other night on Netflix. This what I enjoyed bout it the most. The idea of modern gentrified NY still angers me, DC too.

autism is exactly what that was...trav couldnt understand why she was so upset, in his mind it was real cinemaI love the "time capsule" aspect of it (grimy 1970s NYC) and it's an interesting movie overall
But Travis Bickle is NOT a likeable guy. The part where he tries to take a date to a porno is priceless though, that classic autism
