The desolation and isolation in the reservation I visited near the grand canyon was depressing af. I'd rather live in any black hood in America than be stuck in a reservation.

Most native americans don't live on reparations though, so....Btw, if the native americans got a bad deal or mismanaged their reparations, that's not our fault, and it won't dissuade anyone from the need for reparations in our communities.

That's definitely true. My point is that the governnance that allows them autonomy is the same governance that can push for reparations with ease. We don't have that because AAs are in mixed communities across the entirety of the US.
There are only a few all-Black areas in the US.

Many tribal leaders say Obama has done more in six years for Native Americans than all of his predecessors combined. The administration has given land back to tribes and worked one-on-one with tribal governments, and it is cracking down on crime in Indian Country.
