Justice League Flick In Trouble

Warner is not going to leave the possibility of billions at the box office just laying out there till 2021. They will definitely not make the 2015 date but I am cool with that if the reason is to make sure they don't film a shytty script.
I would guess they will shoot for 2016 if Superman isn't a total flop.

Yeah but for that very reason they dont need to make a JL flick to have a billion dollar franchise, they ate off Matrix, Harry Potter etc in recent years.If they fukk around and find another popular Young Adult series of books they could eat off that too.
DC Comics movie arent as big a necessity for them as people think.

They aren't gonna push it back to 2021 (probably 2016/17), but I'm glad they realized they were heading full speed into a train wreck trying to rush a group film. Just follow marvel's model and do individual films first. They don't have to be "hits," seeing as IM2, Hulk, and Captain America just had "decent" reviews and only IM & IM2 made over 500 mill.

Put out some combination of a Wonder Woman film (basically Clash of the Titans with a female lead), Superman sequel, Batman reboot, Aquaman film (finally erase the stigma around the character), a Flash film, and a green lantern sequel/reboot (with John Stewart as the lead). THEN a group movie

They're better off letting the dudes who did the dc cartoons like batman tas come up wit a story and game plan.
Honestly they don't really have to go the same route as marvel since their universe is more well known than Marv.
- agree with a new superman since the last good movie superman was in the 80s.
- I would do an origin story for flash. If they can find someone like Robert downey who can embrace that ass hole characteristic and still be likable that would be great. I would end the movie hinting at the larger threat
- than drop a great jlu movie introducing the other cats and using it as a launch pad for their movies.

I still disagree that DC/Warners needs to follow the Marvel example of individual films leading into the team up movie. This is Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman; everybody knows these characters so they don't need to have an introductory film to get the public awareness up. And if done right (with a good script and a skilled director) the lesser known characters can just spin out of the JLA movie.

True but I have read that Warner's reason for wanting to get the DC universe movies up and running is because they currently don't have that big time franchise with Potter and the Nolan Batman ending.

I knew it was a wrap since reports are there won't be any dc universe "hints" in Man of Steel, that post credit scene could have been I don't know why WB just can't let dudes cook and make a good product without ridiculous mandates that have failed repeatedly. Sadly Singer was the closest to creative freedom and screwed the pooch with SR and fukked it up for everybody.

that would be the smartest thing to do. Still too soon for a new Batman IMO. If MOS ends up being a hit, just have Snyder do a Worlds Finest flick with Nolan producing again. Then bring in JGL as Batman to keep it in that universe. You don't need 5 superheroes to do Avengers type numbers, the Dark Knight already proved that

The boys at JoBlo have been reading carefully and they noticed buried inside a random, otherwise boring THR story this little tidbit: “The studio is taking pitches on sci-fi hero Adam Strange and the underwater-breathing hero "Aquaman," to be produced by Leonardo DiCaprio and his Appian Way shingle.”

The studio in question is Warner Bros, where all of DC Comics’ superhero properties reside. Beyond that sentence, they offer no further insight on what exactly Leo is planning with this project, and of course just because DiCaprio is producing it, that doesn’t have to mean he’ll be in it. But he could be. Appian Way produces almost everything DiCaprio does these days and if he’s producing it you have to think he’s at least considering playing fish master. Besides, isn’t it about time Leonardo DiCaprio jumped back in the ocean? I can’t wait to see him swimming past the wreck of the Titanic.
