Heyward wasn't lazy in 2011 he was injured. These posts are atrocious. I lost IQ points reading them.

:childplease:
Naw, he came into the year out of shape and wasn't hustling for balls nor was he getting to them. I was going to the games. He got hurt in part to being out of shape and all he did was party all the damn time. You lose IQ points in my thread? How you lose something you never had b*tch n*gga.

justin is good, bj is overrated

B.J. is perfectly rated. Good player who has elite talent who needs to be motivated, in the right situation, and right fit to reach his potential or talent level.

Justin is elite but last year, he had just a very good year with numerous flaws regardless of the injury. He was making the same mistake in May as he was making in August. He wasn't focus.

@HHR How you gonna call out my grammar and you are busy creating threads like this:

http://www.the-coli.com/coliseum/20013-phillies-window-closed-already.html#.UQYNSGedU_8

Is the phillies window closed already?

:usure:

First, how long did that take you to dig up? :kobedamn:

Second, my grammar is impeccable.

The "is" is connected to the window in that sentence. The window merely belongs to the Phillies. Essentially, the question reads "is the window closed?", which is obviously accurate.

Nice try though homie.

NL East still goes through DC :win:

For now....

You guys got a lot of great fits but I don't believe in Ian Desmond, Gio Gonzalez, Adam LaRoche, doing what they did last year again and I expect them to regress. I am not sure Bryce Harper will improve this year like many Baseball people are just assuming. Sophomore year is no joke. For the most part, everyone else should be the same or better.

I do expect Soriano to be good like usual, Strasburg to be the best in Baseball and Zimmerman(pitcher) to be really good.

I think the Braves are much better but it depends on fit, chemistry, and of course, B.J. and Justin Upton.

Stick to English, grammar policing and Jurassic Park. Let real n*ggas handle sports, money making, sexing dimes, and business.

Both are overrated there is a reason other teams gave up on them

They proved to their teams that they aren't leaders and the problem is, your most talented need to be your leaders more than not. The Braves most talented players in the late 1990's weren't leaders at the time. We had Chipper and Andruw but the leader was Brian Jordan. I think our leader has to be Jason Heyward or Brian McCann. I like Heyward. Heyward really wanted it last year. People will look at the numbers and say he wasn't a top 10 field player and what not but teams sent mostly lefties v. the Braves because of our lineup. That hurt Heyward to some degree. I think with the Upton's, Heyward can really get 35+ HR's this year.

In Atlanta, we had guys who weren't leaders and some weren't correctable like Andruw Jones but the Upton's seem different. They seem to be humble and want to be great but at times they seem disinterested and neither have leadership qualities. They can be shaped into elite players. We got the coach in Fredi who proved to me he is one of the best managers at handling personalities in Baseball. That was a big reason we won so many games. We really weren't that talented but Fredi can get out-managed at times.

Jason Heyward could be SO great let's see if he recovers.

this is a black excellence thread but that boy young bryce harper is :lawd:

That kid's talent level is ridiculous. He has the five tools like nobodies business. Reminds you of Ken Griffey Jr. with more intensity but less swagga.

He plays the game like a G. I remember he was running around the bases, flip his helmet off and I was like :lolbron:. I even got me a Harper t-shirt. One of my favorite players.

1. Heyward
2. B.J.
3. Justin
4. Harper
5. McCluchen

I really like Kemp and C.C. too. B.J. and Justin was 2 and 3 when they were in Zona and Tampa respectably. Now they are in Atlanta. This is like the equivalent to CP3, Dwight, and Kobe being in Atlanta for me. My favorite players already but now on my team :whoo: :blessed:

This really got me back 100% into Baseball. I know what those Blue Jays fans feel like. :bryan:

I miss Barry. The closes player talent wise to Barry is Justin. I remember watching Justin like damn, he's a beast, I wish he was a Brave. Now :gladbron: :blessed: :eat:
