Does Donald Sterling age matter with all of his racist comments caught on tape?

Do you think that Sterling started to be a racist at 50 years old or was racist at 15?

I think Sterling is a senile old man who grew up in a different time than us. What he said was still fuked up though but he was old enough to know better while Bieber hadnt even gone through puberty yet when he said what he said. Bieber made a crappy harmless joke even at 15 while Sterling went on a whole tirade about how black people are dogs. Two different scenarios. You're comparing someone lighting their own possessions on fire in their front yard to burning down a whole building.

I just spit truth. I dont say what people necessarily want to hear. It would be the easiest thing in the world for me to complain about how we're all such victims all the time and my daps would be sky high but I just tell it like it is. I'm not holding someone accountable for something they said when their balls barely dropped.

I learned about slavery, jim crow laws, segregation, and the civil rights movement in grade school...and I said I went to a predominantly white catholic school.

There's no excuse...keep in mind I was 10, 11, 12 learning about this and the reality of those teachings about the framework of American society didn't really hit me until I turned 21-22...when I realized I was a black man living in it.

If he was 8...it would be a "young and dumb" thing...but he was not.

Dawg...I have plenty of diversity around me. Like I hang out with blacks, spanish folks, asians, indians...

I have white friends too...and they've constantly told me how much they hated racism and racist words and all of that...

One of them even dates a black girl......

And they would NEVER co-sign anything about this. (probably cause they hate justin bieber like everyone else I know, but this would just be the straw that broke the camel's back...)

What does that say when I say that I know WHITE people personally who would straight up see this clip...call it racist, call him a racist, and call it a day?

Some of these black people responding in this thread defending this...honestly disappoints me and saddens me more than anything else.

What would you want for it to say? To me it doesn't say much because the only problem I have is whoever it is be consistent because outside the comforts of the Internet esp with us being black they looking for stuff to discredit you. On top of that IMO as a man (hell adult period) you shouldn't have flimsy standards that look like they sway depending on how you can benefit. Yes people do it all the time but people also don't put much into what those people do either usually. That's my whole thing and it seems like some people on here only see things from a small minded underdog position. Prime example in one breath racism is about power and the next Beiber who was no power unless we talking about teenage girls is a racist. Believe what you want but ill always implore anybody to be consistent on similar subjects regardless of race, gender, etc period. Also I don't know how it saddens you that people don't all think like you when we all come from different upbringings and the like. Its bound to happen
