when i hear afrobeats are doing well and the artists are branching out and every now and again there is a mainstream afrobeat event it makes me smile and proud. i know how entertainment works before hiphop black people were still the forerunners of culture and etc even down to food advertising it had to have something black about it or whites wouldn't touch it (facts)

up until recently ... its strictly jamaican culture down here everything to the music, talk,food,etc ... so i am hoping this big push afrobeat is getting rubs off on all africans in the western world. people pushing harmony eating suya meats and combating their own bigotry with other excuses.
