Pat, Burrow are definitively better. Allen and Lamar are more trusted but have flaws that allow Herbert to be better any given Sunday.

The rest are arguable but weakly so. Dak is probably the only one I'd believe can keep the Chargers alive like Herbert. Maybe Goff. Hurts is not better and Watson hasn't been him for 3+ years now.

this 100%. the dikkriding for herbert in this thread is definitely the reason why he's overrated. he's not "just a guy" but he definitely isn't this undisputed top 3 or top 5 QB either. we got dudes in here saying he's better than burrow . wins aren't a QB stat, but super special QBs change franchises like a mahomes & burrow. super special QBs can overcome dysfunction. chargers are FAR from lacking talent too. the offense failed him today with all the mishaps, but i've watched more than enough chargers games to know that all the blame isn't on everybody else but herbert. i'd easily take mahomes, burrow, hurts, lamar & even josh allen over dude without thinking twice about it. put him in the group with goff, dak, trevor, etc where you actually show us something substantial outside of occasional pretty throws being the reason you're top 3. can't wait for the next coach to come in and they continue to fall short from the offseason hype they get every year.

His fanboys like his highlights and his size but when you watch his full games, you never come away impressed ever.
