Agreed. I shouldve said a poor mans version of the 02 version of Manning. But there was a time where Manning was an INT machine, who didnt manipulate the pocket that well. Peyton did play a hand in his coach getting fired because he kept throwing pick sixes. He was an elite passer but he was flawed.
Payton always had an elite processor, pre snap and post snap read. Payton also always made life easy for his WRs with catchable balls. I can see your point on pocket manipulation but that verison of Payton played in a NFL where you can still drive WRs out of routes. Just was a different league and it was why RBs were so important in that era.

What people got to understand and I said it at the start: dude isn’t some young 24-year-old QB anymore.

This is dude’s athletic prime and there’s going to be a drop off most likely at the end of next season. I actually think his arm is weaker compared to a few years ago. Dude definitely isn’t trucking anyone anymore either on the run, which is good because that’s the QB, however it’s a part of his game that used to make him more complete.

Point is, Chargers can’t be acting like it’s some young rookie QB out there that they’re grooming, they need to be aggressive this offseason.

Need inside offensive linemen, that OT/Guard from Arizona, swing him inside and center from USC. Double dip in the draft for that position and use money on weapons.

Still young. Will be 27 starting next season. Give the guy some weapons. Wouldn't give up on him yet. Way too early to draw any conclusions..but he has to pull it toegther. Has all the physical tools but he may be slow on the mental side.

Yeah, it’s simply tough knowing his peers have so much more Play-Off experience at the same age than he does. Another quick exit next year or non-appearance and it starts to get tough.

People love to live in the moment. You'd think the guy was trash in the other playoff game he played. They went up 27-0 and got outcoached. Both games on the road. He threw for 1TD 0 INT 273 yards. Lawrence threw 4 picks. His coach was just ass.

Today was different. He was not good at all, so I'm not sure why folk are trying to hang him. Let's see what he does next year.
