Jim Harbaugh had it right the first time. Limit how much Herbert throws the ball. Once he starts passing too much he'll make some brilliant throws and some head scratchers.

Main starting LT basically will never be the same after that injury either but eating a ton of salary. RT already looking injury prone. Interior offensive line is one of the league’s worst. Zero depth on the Offensive Line.
I don’t know, it may really be time to think about moving on, at least from the Chargers if they can’t get protection. Front office has tried, but the situation with key injuries is so messed up.
Thing is the guy isn’t young anymore, this is the middle of his prime and the Offensive Line is horrible.

The media picks The Guy, and as long as he hits a certain baseline he stays where he is for a long time. Even if he doesn't accomplish jack shyt, like Herbert.
